The Malecón is discussed in the workshop on Ecodesign and Sustainability Centre Urban Design and Architecture in the Region of Murcia
The Malecón de Murcia garden will become an international benchmark in terms of eco-design and sustainability.
The Councillor for Environment and Urban Quality, Adela Martinez-Cacho, has met this morning with Joan Rieradevall, a top Spanish authorities on eco-design, to find sustainable solutions for the design and production of furniture.

In addition, due to the presence of this expert has organized a workshop that will be used as a real example Malecón to implement the project sustainable furniture, green area becoming an international benchmark in sustainability and eco-design.
The workshop is organized by the Centre for Design and Architecture in the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Urban Quality of the City of Murcia, and will be held tomorrow and Friday, 26 and 27 November, 10 to 18 and 10 to 17 hours, respectively.
The activity is coordinated by Raúl García, professor of Ecodesign in Elisava-Barcelona and Director of Innovation Inédit product.
The workshop will consist of eight people, two students, one of the EASD and one of CETEM-and six professionals, which will be Eduardo del Fraile, designer and founder of the study Dfraile, Herminio Picard, managing director of Heritage Eco, Antonio Abellán, project architect and professor of Architecture School of Alicante, Juan Esteban, Industrial Design Engineer and Project Manager of Idea Group, and Covadonga Rivers.
In addition, the councils are invited Environment Cartagena, Lorca, Caravaca and Molina de Segura.
