Failed prizes interaction Captured City (24/11/2009)

The Town Planning Councillor, Fernando Berberena, has participated this morning in the awards of the first interaction 'Captured City', organized by the city of Murcia and the Colegio de Arquitectos de Murcia, with the collaboration of the Local Agency Energy Murcia (Alem).

The first prize went to Juan Carlos Caval, for his image 'San Anton'.

Caval has received 300 euros (offered by the city of Murcia) and a camera (a gift from Alem).

The second prize was for Ramon Alarcon, for his image 'Old Post Office', and three honorable mentions for the work of Ignacio Abad for 'Now'; Javier Maillo for 'Avant-garde architecture' and Maria Lopez Hernandez Fuensanta 'Canoes del Segura. "

This interaction was to photograph around the city from a different perspective as perceived in reality.

The purpose of this activity is to realize that the urban environment can be thought of differently than what we see every day.

These images show problems that may not be aware and reveal another side of town.

This activity has been the first cycle I interact, launched by the City Council and the Architects Association, in order for citizens to contribute their views of the city of Murcia at the same time they express their worries and concerns.

The events will run until February 2010 and is open to all people, adults, who want it.

Registration is free and is available in www.interactuacionesmurcia.es page.
