Drawings to combat climate change (20/11/2009)

More than 620 drawings have been exhibited Murcia school today as a result of La Glorieta I Mobility Children Contest organized by the Local Energy Agency of Murcia, the Department of Environment and the Department of Education, on the occasion of the Week Mobility.

Thirteen schools in the county have participated in this contest was that the students draw what is climate change and how to fight, or choose to draw on the mobility and means of transport more environmentally friendly.

The drawings are presented today at the roundabout, up to 18 hours.

Next week the jury will meet to choose the winners.

The jury will select the three best drawings of four categories (Early Childhood Education, First Cycle Primary Education, Primary Education and Primary Education Second Cycle Third Cycle).

The first prize is a bicycle, which gives Decathlon, the second is a lot of paint and easel from Ikea, and the remaining tickets to Terra Natura.

With the best drawings will develop a calendar for 2010.

The aim of this competition is to encourage and contribute to an education where the words sustainable mobility, climate change and renewable energies are part of everyday life.

In addition, take into account that small ideas have resulted in these drawings.
