Invited by House intervened spontaneously to express their ideas and opinions about Murcia

The AYS school students, St. Paul, Our Lady of the Angels and Luis Vives have been the protagonists of this event, which has been held since 1997

Once a year, since 1997, is a day that is not the Mayor and Council of the Corporation who hold the chairs in the Plenary Hall and discuss issues concerning the city.

That date is today, November 20, when primary school pupils in schools in the municipality replace the Selectmen to celebrate the Day of the Rights of the Child and take the opportunity to discuss issues affecting them and make claims deem appropriate.

Thus, this year will be 180 players

El acto ha permitido a los alumnos exponer sus ideas sobre los derechos de los niños e, invitados por el Alcalde, han intervenido de forma espontánea para exponer sus propuestas sobre la ciudad.

Cuatro portavoces –uno por cada centro- han ocupado la presidencia del salón y se han encargado de leer la declaración sobre los derechos reconocidos por la ONU que han preparado en sus clases.

actúa como portavoz en el Pleno, en el que también intervienen su compañeros Javier Martínez, Carmen Salinas, Patricia Martínez y José Miguel López.

Los escolares asisten al Pleno acompañados de su tutor José Antonio Flores y del tutor de 6º y director del centro, Juan Carlos Bastida.

La celebración de este Pleno infantil, coordinado por la Concejalía de Educación, se enmarca en el conjunto de actividades que forman parte de la Semana Conmemorativa de los Derechos de los Niños y de las Niñas que el Ayuntamiento de Murcia celebra desde hace doce años.
