The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, presided this morning the unveiling of the plaque that names that names Jesus Esteban Street, San Basilio.
The event was attended by the honoree, in addition to the council for the Prevention and Fire Fighting, Civil Protection and Development Cooperation, Remigio Lopez, president of the Municipal Board, José Luis Vicente, and other neighborhood residents.
In his brief speech, the Mayor noted that the name of the street is a "recognition of the work and dedication to San Basilio Esteban Jesus."
The new road is located in the expansion of the district, at the confluence of streets Tornel Sergeant Angel and Saint Basil, and it is a pedestrian area with trees and street furniture.
Among other activities carried out by Jesus Esteban, highlights his work as head of the Neighborhood Association and currently president of the Association of Consumers and Users at San Basilio.
