Users eligible to Murcia bus station as the best of Spain (10/11/2009)

Opened in 1975 by passing it every weekday between 25,000 and 30,000 people

The Murcia bus station has received the award for the best in Spain by decision of the users.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, has been charged this morning to discover that the accreditation board as such, as the contest sponsored by the Association for the Development of Transport.

The most valued by passengers using the station Murcia is the care provided by staff, the information provided, the connection with other modes of public transport and the level of equipment, point of sale and billing.

The recognition of the best bus station, which this year has been on the premises of the city, you get more than 3,000 surveys among users in Spain, who were asked about aspects as diverse as cleaning, security, care personal, travel information, equipment, etc.

The station was inaugurated on September 18, 1975 and in 1999 completed the work of the last reshuffle.

Built on land owned by the municipality, the City Council has awarded its management Interprovincial Cooperative Dealers regular passenger services in Murcia.

Murcia got a score of 4.38, followed by stations in Merida, Pamplona, Caceres and Badajoz.
