A replay from the Liceo de Barcelona opens the new edition of 'open Opera' at the University of Murcia (09/11/2009)

The broadcast of the opera Król Roger, live from the Liceo de Barcelona, inaugurated the seventh edition of the course 'open Opera: An Introduction to the opera', which will run until May 2010.

The session will be held in the hall of Degrees of the Faculty of Law, Campus de la Merced.

This is an initiative of Vice President for University Extension, the opera trying to disclose the university community through live opera broadcasts from the Teatro Liceo in Barcelona and Teatro Real de Madrid.

Verdi, Mozart and Richard Strauss are some of the authors who will present this course.

Along with the broadcast of operas, the course includes lectures.

The first will take place on November 12: The Troubadour: tragedy of honor, revenge Opera and dance of love "by Alvaro Zaldivar, Professor of History at the Music Conservatory of Music of Murcia.

Lecture will be in the letter of the Merced campus, classroom 2.
