UCAM is actively present in the IX edition of the Week of Science and Technology in the Region of Murcia (SECYT) organized by the Seneca Foundation for Science and Technology Agency.
The event will be held from 5 to 8 November in the Garden of the embankment of Murcia.
This edition features the participation of nearly half a hundred cultural and educational institutions nationally and internationally.
This year, the main novelty, as the Vice Chancellor for Research UCAM, Antonio Flores, "is the presence of architecture in the booth area UCAM Archimedes.
It is the first time that drives the field of architecture in this conference. "
The opening ceremony was chaired by Ramón Luis Valcárcel, President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia (CARM), accompanied by the Minister for Universities and Research Company, Salvador Marin, as well as various regional authorities.
Also, the event was attended by the Vice Chancellor for Research UCAM, Antonio Flores, and the director of the Office of Transfer of Results (TTO), Luis Tejada, along with various university representatives in the region.
According to the Vice Chancellor for Research of the UCAM, Antonio Flores, note that "for the first time you install a stand information related to architecture, in which the UCAM is a pioneer."
Also, the Vice Chancellor said that "at the inaugural lecture of the conference and mentioned the importance of momentum to architectural issues."
Different degrees of the UCAM as Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Communication Sciences, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Systems Engineering, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Science of Physical Activity and Sport, and Tourism, held during the Week of Science and Technology informative extensive work, which will include various activities related to health, sports, technology, computing, communications, among others.
