The course on the role of nursing and its involvement in care management and in the process of organ donation and transplantation, which runs the teacher of the University of Murcia José María López Montesinos, opened yesterday with a ceremony held at the headquarters Murcia Ibermutuamur.

This course, now in its ninth edition, is aimed at professionals and students in nursing degree with the aim of providing knowledge on the techniques currently used in the donation and transplantation of organs and tissues.

The official opening was conducted by the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Relations and Health Sciences, University of Murcia, Manuel Vidal, and the Director General of Public Health of the Region, Francisco José García.

The National Transplant Organization, the Ministry of Health and the Department of Nursing at the University are the organizers of this course of educational promotion.
