The Department of Education and crew, who heads Megía Pilar, will undertake the work of removing architectural barriers in a total of eleven schools in the municipality of Murcia for a total of 275,718.62 euros.

The Autonomous Community will provide on average 80% of the total cost and the city of Murcia the rest.

In three years, the City of Murcia has applied for grants to the region and has been removed architectural barriers in a total of 30 centers in the municipality.

On this occasion, the removal of architectural barriers will be held at the following locations:

The center projects: Mariano Aroca (Murcia), has undertaken the adaptation of toilets and doors, Ramón Gaya (Bacons Bridge), this center has made the space adaptation, Maria Auxiliadora (Cabezo de Torres), adequacy of spaces; San José de Calasanz (Stables), adaptation of facilities, and La Paz (Murcia), adaptation of facilities and toilets.

These works were made during the last summer holidays in order to prevent the center underwent two periods of work.
