Moya-Angeles: "The PSOE proposes subsidies that are in place and others that do not conform to current legislation" (29/10/2009)

The Deputy Mayor of Finance, Joaquin Moya-Angeles, has said that the proposal submitted to the plenary by the socialist municipal group, is meaningless and of legality, since the vast majority of bonuses have been in place for years and the other proposed reductions do not comply with the law.

Angen Moya is back to explain that the Draft Tax Ordinances for next year, the House approved today by the Corporation, is an update of 1% in rates, vehicles and property tax, plus it will keep rates frozen ICIO's tax (tax on buildings), goodwill and IAE, thus helping to keep the most needy as a result of severe economic crisis we are experiencing.

"What we should do is clarify the PSOE and immediately lower the taxes on fuel has been established, among many others that record consumption and savings.

The Zapatero government should boost subsidies to encourage employment and economic activity.

But instead of carrying out these measures, decreased by 24% State contribution to local councils to halt further activity, "Moya-Angeler has apostille.

The head of the Treasury also said it is more than evident the fiscal policy of the PSOE and the results are seen when rules and displays a button.

Between 1992 and 1995, taxes rose above the CPI.

And at 14 years of Popular Party government, both the IBI, as landfill or road tax have remained below, as shown in the chart below.
