The hiring of thirteen stand allow the rehabilitation of green areas in six districts of the municipality (21/10/2009)

The Department of Environment and Urban Quality, thanks to an agreement with the Employment Service and Training, thirteen hire unemployed (a foreman gardener, eleven officers and one administrative assistant) to work in the regeneration of landscaping green areas left side of Murcia.

This project will be carried out in eleven areas of the municipality in which conditioned the green surfaces, elements ornamental plants and furniture, as well as irrigation systems.

Will also be made to the recycling of certain areas to suit the demands of a low-maintenance landscaping.

The most important work to be performed are:

- Soil conditioning by mechanical and manual

- Regeneration of seasonal flower beds, shrubs and perennial.

- Sowing and planting of prairie by Stenotaphrum cuttings and seed supply

- Replacement of shrubs in formation of groups in interior gardens

- Early care of the tasks previously performed

- Recycling of green, low maintenance surfaces

- Repair of street furniture

- Repair and renovation of irrigation system

These areas which will be carried out this work are the street Cobatillas Federico García Lorca, the Way of the Flora of El Campillo, Jupiter Street Llano de Brujas, Camino Nuevo Mundo, the garden architect and Avenida Joaquín Peñalver Pedro Díaz Cassou de Monteagudo, Murcia Region Plaza, Plaza Juan Molina The Olivero and rail in Los Canos Bacons Bridge and Cross Street in El Raal.

For this project, whose execution time is nine months, 394,000 euros will be invested
