The Department of Culture and European Programmes will acquire more than a thousand books to the Municipal Library Network, thanks to a grant from the Autonomous Community.
These books provide FNAC department stores in Spain, with an investment of almost 22,000 euros.
About 50% of the work will be aimed at children and youth to promote reading among young people.
These books are intended to form the bibliographic sources of the Network, which has not so interested in acquiring new products, like books that have more permanence in time for its content and the replacement of existing works that are damaged or aged .
Some of the most prominent titles to be acquired are World Cinema A to Z, A Brief History of the Civil War, 1,000 general chemistry problems, Arabic Grammar, What if my child is taking drugs?: Key practices prevent, knowing and acting, The Adventures of Tintin and related dictionaries, atlases, law, art, stories ...
All these books were distributed among the 15 libraries and reading room of the municipality: Beniaján, Javalí New River Segura, the head of Torres, La Alberca, San Basilio, Pelagius Ferrer (El Palmar), La Nora, Depth, El Carmen Bridge, bacon, Raal, Espinardo, Sangonera La Verde, Guadalupe and Fame.
