The Socialist Party calls for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of South Coast Road Salabosque (15/10/2009)

Councilman Mark Ros Socialist Group believes that this action, which asked to be included in the budgets of the Planning Department in 2010, is essential for the proper functioning of traffic in the area, as the Road is a road very Salabosque used by the residents of La Alberca Murcia to move

Note from PSOE:

The Municipal Socialist Group has called this morning to the municipal PP to include in future budgets of the Planning Department in 2010 the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of South Coast Road Salabosque.

Faced with the imminent opening to traffic of the first phase of the South Coast between La Alberca and Algezares, socialists believe that the planned cross between the avenue and Salabosque Road, with traffic light regulation, cause traffic jams in the area.

Socialists point out that Salabosque Road is a communication channel used by many residents of La Alberca Murcia to move every day and that, therefore, the light provided is insufficient to regulate the intersection.

Initiative of the PSOE in La Alberca

Similarly, the mayor Marcos Ros recalls that the initial draft of the South Coast was not possible intersection Salabosque Road, and users had to travel a mile in each direction until the next round.

Result of the mobilization and initiatives of the PSOE in La Alberca, the PP of La Glorieta included a crossing with traffic light regulation.

This improves the baseline crossing, but the PSOE still considered inadequate this solution.

According to Ros, "the town deserves adequate infrastructure and sufficient capacity to be a great city, which is why we ask the planning and construction of this roundabout."

Coastal late and no support for Valcárcel

Similarly, the socialist mayor recalled that the agreement signed yesterday between the municipal and regional administrations is not more than a "pantomime" to hide the CARM will renege on its commitment to the city of Murcia.

Thus, Ros said that the protocol signed in 2007 envisaged that it would be the Autonomous Community and finance who would pay in advance the implementation of these three arteries, and finally, two years after the agreement signed yesterday, means it will be the City who have to advance the money in advance, and that the CARM take 10 years to return, with the financial costs that will mean for all Murcia.

"Another example of submission to House Valcárcel, instead of demanding money for infrastructure and Murcia in emphatic fashion, manages to embrace one who can keep him in office, criticism.

Valcárcel, 100 million in 10 years / Plan E, $ 75 million in 1 year

Finally, the Socialist councilor underlines the stark contrast between the investment efforts of the Government of Spain, headed by Rodriguez Zapatero, and zero commitment to his hometown Valcárcel.

While Zapatero has invested in Murcia 75 million euros in just one year, and is due a large amount for next year-end Ros-Valcárcel fails to comply with its commitments and calls on House to forward him the money for the Community return it in 10 years.
