Green light for a package of improvement works in eleven districts and a district (07/10/2009)

The renovation and improvement of streets, driveways, sidewalks, paths and lanes remains one of the actions that the City of Murcia devotes a special attention.

The Governing Board of the City of Murcia has finally awarded this morning a package of improvement works to be carried out in eleven districts and one district in the coming weeks, amounting to 863,454.37 euros.

The awarded works will be carried out in the following districts and neighborhoods: Zeneta (paving work will be carried), Stables (Paved in several ways), Jerome and Avileses (roads and pavements), Bacons Bridge (paving of lanes), La Raya (sidewalks Sewer road), El Raal (roads and pavements in Vereda de la Torre), was high (garden remodeling Prince Philip), The Garres (street paving and walls Culture), The Rane (adequacy of disclosures in the Catholic Kings Avenue ), Los Martínez del Puerto (sidewalks in Avenida Juan Carlos I), El Esparragal (asphalt in various ways) and La Alberca (sidewalks on some streets).

These activities, funded by the Autonomous Community are the result of a collaboration agreement that both governments have signed up to rush into the city of Murcia.

In addition to these final actions, the Board of Directors today also approved the project and hiring specifications for the paving of several sections of sidewalks on the streets Muri Manuel Figueroa, Manuel Bruquetas and Francisco Franco in the core Lobosillo and Schools in the streets, Real, San Antonio de Padua, Carlos and Lobosillo-Albujón road in the heart of the cones.
