La Alberca festivities in honor of the Virgen del Rosario (06/10/2009)

The residents of La Alberca are ready to live two weeks of festivities to honor its patron saint, Our Lady of the Rosary.

The events begin tomorrow, October 7, with ringing of bells and fireworks to mark the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

At 20.30 hours there will be an orchard in the parish church with wreath.

On Thursday it opens exhibition of the artist Ros Barceló in the auditorium of City Hall, at 20.30.

The exhibition will be open until 18 October.

On Sunday, October 11, will contest rice in Constitution Square after 13 hours.

On Monday, October 12, the feast of El Pilar, competition has been organized in the Garden Pool crumbs of Salamanca, at 9 am, and day of coexistence.

On Friday, October 16, at 1730 hours, has planned a children's costume party with gifts for all participants.

At 22.15 hours verbena costume with the orchestra at the Royal Music Square Casino.

On Saturday, October 17, at 10 am Party with chocolate donuts.

At 10.30 am gymkhana in Casino Square.

At 18 hours grand parade with floats and participation of troupes from El Palmar, Sangonera La Verde and La Alberca.

At 22.30 hours on the Square festival with music by the Orquesta Casino America and Rumba Tres.

On Sunday, October 18, ending the festivities.

At 10 hours there will be children's party.

In the afternoon, to las19 hours has organized a mass and 20 hours will start the procession of the patron through the streets of the hamlet.

At the end, a large fireworks display put the finishing touch to the holidays.

In addition, from 2 to 18 October is Tennis Tournament VIII La Alberca, and 9 to October 12 football Championship of pairs.
