Murcia opens Cooperating Week (28/09/2009)

Pay honor everyone who leave working countries developing either projects development cooperation humanitarian or is goal achieve wants Murcia Council.

This afternoon Cooperating Week opened with a ceremony chaired by the Deputy Mayor for Education and Personal, Pilar Megía, which was attended by authorities of the Autonomous Region, representatives of academia, NGOs and different people working in the field of cooperation.

Pilar Megía emphasized this important initiative undertaken by the city of Murcia and undertaken by the Head of Cooperation, Remigio Lopez, to honor the donors from Murcia and to publicize the important work of cooperation that is taking place from Murcia .

Thus, we have organized round tables to be held on 29, 30 and 31 September, a photo exhibition and a show of cooperating to raise awareness of the assistance provided in these developing countries; and reflects the spirit of Murcia aid to those countries most in need.

The activities are:

Tuesday, September 29.

Round table "Cooperating in Murcia," 20:00 am in the Auditorium of City Hall Annex Building.

Wednesday, September 30.

Round table "Cooperation and Gender" in the Cultural Center of El Carmen.

Thursday, October 1.

Roundtable University Cooperation ", at 11:00 pm in the Auditorium Annex Building to the City of Murcia.

Lecture "Health Cooperation, at 19:00 pm in the Auditorium Annex Building to the City of Murcia.

Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3.

Cooperating Fair in the Plaza de Santo Domingo.

Monday 28 September to Sunday, October 3, photo exhibition on the cooperative projects and advocacy at the Cultural Center of the neighborhood of El Carmen.
