Bacons Bridge has become the latest example that shows how it meets the Government Team of the City of Murcia its commitment to promote the reconciliation of work and family life by building new schools.
The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, today opened a new center that will help parents can go to their jobs with the security and peace of mind knowing that their children are well cared for.
The Mayor has toured the facility accompanied, among other council members, by the mayors of Social Welfare and Equality Policies, Education and Personal, Maria del Carmen and Pilar Pelegrín Megía, respectively, besides the President of the Municipal Board of Bacons Bridge, Enrique Cano.
He has also assisted the director general of Family and Children, Laura Muñoz, and Senator Maria José Nicolás.
The result of this plan to encourage creation of nurseries to ensure the reconciliation of work and family life led by the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, it has been ground with a capacity for 4,000 childcare places, of which there are now in operation or under construction 18 centers for children in the neighborhoods and districts, with a total of 1,728 seats, against 500 that was previously the town.
This fulfills one of the objectives of the government team, reconciling work and family life and expanding the network of schools with initiatives to reconcile their occupational, family and training.
In this field are the generation of land required to build centers for children 0 to 3 years.
The center, which became operational on September 1, is located on Avenida Ciclista Mariano Rojas, and was raised on a municipal plot of 2,000 m2 located next to the school Our Lady of the Rosary.
The lot, valued at 1,040,000 euros, and the work that has required a cost of 655,000 euros, have added a total investment of almost 1.7 million euros, of which 500,000 were contributed by the Ministry of the Presidency under FEDER funds.
The services provided at these facilities respond to new social needs that have families Murcia, allowing a balance and making the reconciliation of work and family type.
Thus, the City contributes to the progressive improvement of the quality of life and wellbeing of families in the county, providing services that ensure adequate care for their minor children during the working hours of parents, both shifts morning and afternoon.
The center is managed by the company Bacons Bridge Educational Services, Cooperative Society.
Consists of 4 classrooms for educating children, a kindergarten service room, a computer room, kitchen, office, office, staff room, storage and playground.
In total, 84 beds are offered for children from 0 to 3 years, from 8 to 20 hours, and toy library service for children 3 to 8 years, at a time of 17 to 20 hours.
The center also has room service.
With its opening, Bacons Bridge happens to have a supply of 284 spaces from 0 to 3 years.
The figure last year was 200, distributed in 6 schools and 2 -4 concerted public-8 classrooms.
