Sergio Pardo is the winner of the 8 th stage of the Championship of Spain of Poker (28/09/2009)

The winner received a prize of 36,305 euros and the tournament title Matador

The next stage will be at the Casino Kursaal in San Sebastian of 23 to 25 October

El Granada Sergio Pardo has won victory in the eighth stage IV of Spain Championship Poker (CEP) held at the Grand Casino Rincón de Pepe Murcia over the past weekend.

A total of 191 players have gathered in this competition, sponsored by online poker room EuroSuperPoker, bringing together the best national players of poker to dispute one of the first prize, while adding points to become champions face national later this year.

Thus, the Gran Casino Murcia has exceeded its own brand, bringing together more than 71 players in last year, which brought together 120 players.

Sergio Pardo has pocketed a check for 36,305 euros as first prize, plus Matador take the tournament title for being the player who has eliminated opponents.

Tournament Calendar

The championship consists of eleven stages, including the final-league format with points, which any player can participate without being required to enroll in all tournaments.

The most consistent player throughout all stages, ie, the more points you have accumulated throughout the tournament, will be the national champion of poker at the end of the year.

After the tournament in Murcia, CEP facing the line and now there are only three tournaments to know the winner of 2009.

The next phase will take place at the Casino Kursaal in San Sebastian during the weekend of 23 to 25 October.
