The bullfighter David Fandila Granada 'El Fandi', who cut four ears in total in the evening in which he performed in the bullring of La Condomina, was elected winner of the Feria de Murcia 2009 by the jury of the Fair Awards taurine, while Murcia Rafaelillo right was recognized with the Award of Valor for the second consecutive year.
José María Manzanares earned the awards for Best and Best Thrust Faena, who prescribed the fifth bull of the afternoon of September 14, named 'Ventorrillo'.
The award for Most Artistic Slaughter went to Alejandro Talavante, by his second bull bullfighting on September 17, while the award for Best Rejoneador Diego went to Ventura and Best Novillero corresponded to Luis Miguel Casares, which both repeat achieved distinctions at the fair last year.
Best Toro Fair was elected 'Funny', livestock of El Torero, 531-pound black and energetic, which was fought by the Fandi as fifth in the afternoon of 19 September.
Jubilee Award for Best Juvenile truant without horses went to Alberto Lopez Simon and deserts in this edition were the awards for Best Pair of Banderillas, Layer Toreo Best, Best and Best Shiv Remove Hazard.
The jury, chaired by the Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, is composed of fans and journalists from different media.
Also part of it, with voice but no vote, representatives of the Autonomous Community of Murcia City and the delegation of the Government.
The jury also has reflected in its meeting of prizes awarded by the Club Taurino de Murcia, the 'Trophy for Best Manolo Gonzalez Corrida', awarded for the second consecutive year to the breeding of José Luis Pereda, struggled in the first run the show, and the 'Award for Best Seguí Rafael Toro Sánchez', which this year was deserted.
For his part, Trophy 'Press Association Association of Journalists' Best Sword was awarded by that institution to Alejandro Talavante right as best matador's celebration of 17 September.
