Next Monday, September 28, opens at the Intercontinental Hotel La Torre, Polaris World resort in the "V International Symposium on Seeds and Seedlings" for horticultural products, involving hundreds of researchers and entrepreneurs.
IMIDA director, on behalf of the autonomous region, and the rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena will chair the opening ceremony of a conference that will last until October 1st.
The symposium, coordinated by researchers at the CEBAS-CSIC Alfocea Francisco Pérez and José Antonio Pascual, Spanish experts, EU, Japan, USA and several African countries address issues such as biotech seeds for horticultural products quality and improving processes such as seed germination and transplant to the area of culture, in short, trying to optimize the crop from the start to more and better production.
