The Office of Volunteer Social Service Center of Beniaján receive a grant of the Autonomous Region in order to continue performing actions and cooperating with the activities carried out at the Centre.
This office consists of about 40 volunteers, who must add the technicians who carry out projects with children, families and seniors, under the coordination and supervision of staff of the Center for Social Services.
In addition, volunteers receive training and participate in conferences such as the Volunteer Meeting, held every year and last year drew more than two hundred people.
Also, to help implement the campaign 'I am also a volunteer' that takes place in schools in the municipality.
With the grant received from the Autonomous City Council will also launch the Volunteer Bus, which will visit the town for 4 days with the aim of promoting volunteerism.
The City will spend about 20,000 euros in these projects.
