"Improving weather in your city" is the theme for European Mobility Week 2009, the topic refers to the overall atmosphere of cities, aspects that affect air quality, noise, road safety , quality of public spaces ... "(Manual for local authorities, EUROCITIES).
During this week different activities are scheduled through the various councils of the City of Murcia.
In the case of the education service, which runs Pilar Megía for Mobility Week has organized two activities: Children's Traffic Park and a drawing competition.
According Megía "these activities will strengthen the planning of educational activities that we offered to schools in the Municipality for 2009-2010 in the driver education program related to the mobility and the environment, either as a pedestrian, driver or passenger. "
The Mobile Children's Traffic Park was held on 18, 21 and 22 in Torreagüera (Montegrande garden), El Palmar (San Roque garden) and Murcia (Chinese garden).
In total 360 students have participated in 11 educational centers in the municipality of Murcia.
