The Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Policy and Equality, María del Carmen Pelegrin, attended, as every year, the tribute that gives Progress over the neighborhood in the heart of the festivities in honor of the Virgin of Hope.
Pelegrin was tasked to deliver a gift to the older age attending the dinner, this is a man and a woman aged 84.
The festival tribute, which brought together about 250 more of Progress, held in the garden Antonio Fernández of the neighborhood, where there was also a musical performance and activities.
The Senior Center Neighborhood Progress, founded in 1986, currently has more than 300 with a weekly partners involved in the wide range of cultural and leisure activities that are organized from the center.
Quarter Progress continues this afternoon the festival program, with a floral offering to the Virgin of Hope in the church.
The start will take place at 19:30, Antonio Fernández from the garden.
At 21:30 hours there will be a performance by children's group Peña La Rana, and the dance group the Center for Women Carmen Conde.
Saturday, September 19.
At 17:00 hours will be held the traditional side of the garden through the streets of the neighborhood.
At 22:00 there will be the night out "I get the magazine with Carlos Vargas."
Sunday, September 20.
12:00 pm, Solemn Mass of the patroness of the district, sung by the Peña La Rana.
20:00 pm, a procession with the Virgin de la Esperanza and San José in the streets of the neighborhood, which was also attended by the Councillor for Infrastructure and Community Services, José Arce.
