"Flooding yesterday confirms the rush of DB stretch to finish the works of Miguel Indurain as it passes through Zarandona ..." (17/09/2009)

Note from PSOE:

Councilman José Antonio García Baños PSOE claims that in less than a week has built this service road to access the hamlet without taking into account the lack of sewer connection and water records

The Socialists denounced the improvisation and haste with which the PP of La Glorieta has done work on the service road for access from Miguel Indurain (whose official inauguration will take place tomorrow) to the hamlet of Zarandona.

This service road that, in principle, was not foreseen in the initial project has been built in haste, says the mayor of the PSOE José Antonio García Baños, who claims that this is why you have not been taken into account essential services such as sewers and the connection of water to records not subject to flooding (as shown in pictures).

The rains of yesterday, underscores García Baños, have seriously affected the low of seven houses and garages of a three-storey building.

Old sidewalks and poor lighting

Similarly, the Socialist spokesman in the Municipality, Eugenio Martinez, complains that "despite the demands of the residents, will tomorrow open the avenue Miguel Indurain unresolved issues affecting the citizens."

Besides the lack of sewer and water connection record, Martinez also claims that remain unresolved problems of the sidewalks (they left the old ones) and barely any lighting in the area.

"We regret the apparent unwillingness of the mayor of Zarandona and equipment of the Municipality of Murcia government to solve problems that generate a great nuisance to neighbors," concludes the Socialist spokesman.
