Encourage support for families is one of the objectives of the government team that is reflected in the agreement to be signed shortly with the Diocese of Cartagena for the development of a family counseling program.
Through this agreement the city of Murcia will contribute € 9,015 to support the activity developed by the diocese from Family Planning Service in the parish of St. Thomas Aquinas (The Master-Espinardo).
In this parish is made to improve family relationships through counseling, school, family, geriatric training, legal counseling and family therapy.
This project, which has been operating since 2004, is supported by the Department of Social Welfare, which runs María del Carmen Pelegrin, because an encouragement for families, one of the basic areas of intervention from the social services field municipal.
This is the ideal framework for conducting social interventions since families are agents of transformation of the environment in which they live.
