The Council also calls on the smallest that are committed to sustainable mobility (17/09/2009)

The departments of Environment and Urban Quality and Education and Staff are committed to raising awareness at an early age.

To that end, in collaboration with the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change, organized a drawing contest for the little ones, so that they too are involved in sustainable mobility.

The drawing contest I "Mobility Week" is designed for students from schools in the municipality of Childhood and Primary Education.

They will be responsible for performing a drawing based on some of these questions: 'What is for you climate change and what would you change it? "

and "If there were no cars, how would you move to your town?".

The deadline for submitting the drawings begins Sept. 21 and ends on October 26 while the place of filing Alem is home, street Azarbe Paper, 22 (building of the Local Development Agency of Murcia).

Of all the drawings that are presented, a jury will select the top three of four categories (Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education First Cycle, Second Cycle Primary Education and Primary Education Third Cycle) that will be rewarded with tickets Terra Natura, lots of paint and Ikea trestles and other details.

And with the best drawings will be prepared the 2010 calendar.

The aim of this competition is to encourage and contribute to an education where the words sustainable mobility, climate change and renewable energies are part of everyday life, while taking into account the ideas in these drawings.

To report this competition has sent a letter to all heads of schools indicating all the details.

In addition, other activities at the school within the II European Mobility week that the council has offered to schools in the Municipality for 2009-2010 in the driver education program related to the Mobility and Environment .

Thus, we have organized a Children's Traffic Park, whose goals are to learn basic rules of road safety education, encourage team play, choosing appropriate locations for use and bicycle riding, know the rules and signals relating to the conduct of bicycle, develop a sense of responsibility, referring to the bicycles driving and be aware of potential danger (risk perception), and knowing this vehicle as an environment that fosters sustainable mobility, while healthy.

The Children's Traffic Park is situated on Friday 18 in the Garden of Torreagüera Montegrande on Monday 21 in the garden in the garden San Roque in El Palmar and September 22 in the Chinese Garden.

A total of 11 students in 360 schools.

Also, remember that the Department of Education has sought to emphasize this year in the environment and sustainability in the new edition of the Education Program for this course.

This year we have created two new activities directly related to the environment:

"Educating the Ogromóvil" for students of Primary 4 of that through a story you will discover the importance of the environment on mobility.

"Safety and Environment Vil."

The students of Lower Secondary workshop will last and a half, thanks to which activities carried on 'Pollution and greenhouse gases, "Recycling vehicle" and "Road Safety and eco-driving simulator"
