The City pays 800,000 euros to the shelter and soup kitchen for Jesus Dropped until 2011 (13/09/2009)

The City Council allocated 800,000 euros to cover the costs of shelter and dining room that provides the foundation Jesus Dropped the homeless during the years 2009, 2010 and 2011.

A total of 45 people each day can stay temporarily at the shelter thanks to this support.

The Governing Board has awarded today the hiring of temporary accommodation services Reception Centre transients and homeless people, amounting to 380,000 euros and the social canteen transients and homeless people, valued at 420,000 euros.

Jesus Dropped The Foundation is responsible for providing this service, as currently is the only entity with headquarters in the town that has the means, management skills and infrastructure needed to provide temporary shelter and soup kitchen programs for persons transients and homeless.
