The City Council gives a very important step in the recovery of Vistabella quarter with the completion of the restoration of the facades of buildings in the emblematic Plaza de Federico Servet Vistabella.
The City Council has approved payment for this work, amounting to 193,659 euros.
Will soon begin the work of Blocks 1, 2, 5 and 20 Vistabella, which will terminate the rehabilitation of buildings in the neighborhood.
Furthermore, in the last two years have started proceedings for the rehabilitation of facades and roofs in twelve blocks of flats in the neighborhood of Santa María de Gracia (Murcia) and 160 homes in the neighborhood of Los Almendros in La Alberca.
All these activities are financed through an agreement signed by the city of Murcia and the Housing and Land Institute of the Autonomous Region with the objective of restoring and improving the urban image of buildings which were promoted with public funds and over the years have deteriorated.
The project, undertaken by the Department of Housing, run by Antonio Castillo, Urbamusa being conducted by the municipal urban development.
