"Need to approach the modern concept of psychosocial risk," said the expert on Labour and Social Security, and Professor of the Official Master of Legal Practice and Advocacy of the UCAM, Pilar Conde, during the course `Psychosocial risks at work : detection and prevention of stress and harassment, held recently at the Catholic University.
The event, organized by the degree of law, within the framework of the Summer University, was used to analyze the phenomenon of psychosocial risks and their implications in the current business environment.
Professor Pilar Conde, highlighted the excellent reception given by the 60 students participating to this course, and stressed the need for further study of the emerging psychosocial occupational hazards that threaten today's working environment in modern enterprise.
"Today more than ever, it is necessary to bring, to know and properly assimilate the concept of psychosocial risk and assess their impact on the business world, through boom phenomena such as stress, bullying or burn- out, "he said.
Conde said: "This educational initiative, aims for students to acquire an accurate understanding of these issues, enabling them to implement effective methods for detection, assessment and prevention of such risks, develop training programs in occupational health and safety work and promote training on job duties in the business world. "
