The UCAM closing the 2009 Edition of the Working Campus in Peru (04/09/2009)

The UCAM presented the award "Charity in Truth" Caritas of Peru, in recognition of his 53 years of work in the Andean country

The UCAM recently closed the 2009 edition of the Working Campus Pachacútec (Peru).

The Vice Chancellor of University Extension, and director of the International Institute of Charity and Volunteer of the UCAM, Antonio Alcaraz, www.ucam.edu / services / iicv welcomed the results of the activity.

"We exceeded all our expectations, both material and human," he said.

Alcaraz said, "Our volunteers have been supporting human, material and spiritual, to the needy inhabitants of these regions through the development of various health education workshops, reading and writing, logistics, administration, communication, new technologies, construction, catechesis and Christian growth, combined with sports and leisure activities. Also notable in the context of this activity, the celebration in Lima Extension of the VIII International Conference on Charities and Volunteers, which included the award 'Charity in the Truth' to Caritas of Peru, in recognition of the intense work done in the Andean country for the past 53 years.
