A student Murcia represents Spain in the World Championship Training 'WorldSkills 2009' (03/09/2009)

The student at the Miguel de Cervantes de Murcia, José Luis Albarracín, along with 15 other students from different regions, represents Spain in international competition for Vocational Training 'WorldSkills 2009', held in Calgary (Canada) and has with 900 participants from 51 countries in 45 different specialties.

The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca attends Murcia student participation in these Olympic Games in the coming days and maintain a program of activities including interviews with educational authorities in the province of Alberta, representatives of other countries, intervention in panel discussions and professional forums, and visits to schools and vocational training and employment.

The young participants are the winners with a gold medal in the 'Olympics Spainskills', held in April this year in Madrid, attended by 160 students from all regions, 50 team leaders and 120 experts jurors .

José Luis Albarracín won the top award in the competition developed in Madrid, as it was the student with the highest score of the tournament, specializing in Automotive Technology.

Spanish students who represent us in Canada specialize in joinery, carpentry, aesthetics, network support, Web design, electrical, automotive technology, restaurant and bar, industrial control, mechatronics, kitchen, car paint and hair, and come from Aragon, Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, Murcia, Madrid, Galicia and Castilla y León.
