The painter Manuel Vacas, Cáceres born but based in Murcia for 35 years, is the author of the picture, which this year will be used to decorate the city with banners and muppis and filling the front page of the festival program.
This time it is an acrylic on canvas that depicts a night scene in which children walk along the Malecon.
In the background is the Cathedral, as a characteristic element of the city, and a Ferris wheel, a symbol of the September Fair.
Cows has been part of more than fifteen exhibitions, besides being responsible for designing the "Lira" for the days of poetry of Ramón Gaya Museum in September 2005.
In the same year he received the first prize in the contest V Air Painting in Santa Maria de Gracia.
