Physical activity and healthy lifestyles is the subject of analysis have been published book that professors at the University of Murcia, Francisco Ruiz Juan and Maria Elena García Montes, along with Maurice Piéron, professor at the University of Liege Belgium.
The volume is the result of research that these teachers have developed since 2006 to find patterns that indicate how to generate adult habits necessary for the promotion of regular physical activity.
Furthermore, this work has sought to find patterns that may constitute impediments to fight against them.
For these scientists, "including those that can contribute to the attainment of certain habits is the family."
It also examines the impact that certain dietary habits and consumption of harmful substances such as alcohol and snuff, can have on quality of life of people.
The book is part of the results of the research project "sports physical habits and health lifestyles in youth and adults, which is funded by the Ministry of Education and Science.
The project is the involvement of the University of Murcia and Granada and Almeria.
