In the last two years has increased significantly the number of documents with the digitization of Online Journal from 1939 to 1983 (with over 200,000 scanned pages) and an agreement and a grant from the Ministry of Culture (with a total of 75,000 pages)

All these documents can be found in the Pandora's own file browser, a tool that was launched in January 2008 and provides access to digitized pages and search for specific date, publication, or find a place, a person a period of time or a specific topic.

Note also that the Crimson project, launched by the Autonomous Community, has scanned 300,000 pages.

These include important documents such as minutes or Chapter XVI century royal privileges.

Through the application of this technology are obtained various improvements to the service, because it preserves the original, avoiding the ongoing management of them, speeding up the consultation of documents and offers the possibility that many researchers can consult a simultaneously the same newspaper, you can search for words and can provide copies of what the researchers are interested, which hitherto could not be done by the great damage that is a photocopy of the original.

Existing titles in the Municipal Archives are a unique set of information, historical and cultural value, making it the best collection of local newspapers throughout the Region.
