"Operation Luna" and is offering the first results.
This campaign was launched by the Department of Safety in July and is the policing of the main green areas of Murcia and districts during the summer evenings so that residents can enjoy tranquility of these spaces.
During this time local police officers have been distributed among users of the gardens while 1,001 brochures have been 95 neighbors who have voiced their complaints and suggestions.
Most of them are on the botelleo, loose dogs and drug use.
Thus, through local collaboration, monitoring has been initiated on the following gardens:
Isaac Albéniz Garden: For dogs loose in the yard without a muzzle.
Greco Garden: For youth drug and making noises at night.
Garden Auditorium: For damage to the swans and ducks in the park.
Salitre garden: Why do botelleo and vandalism.
Miguel Angel Blanco Garden Bacons Bridge: for botelleo and dog feces in the garden
Garden of Democracy in El Palmar: For substance abuse.
Furthermore, it has punished a person for possession of narcotics in the Garden Auditorium and another for drinking in the garden of Floridablanca.
The first phase of this special device "Luna-09" developed the first fortnight of July and involved the local police visit the gardens to gather information about which are the most popular at this time of year, the hours which are most visited and what needs are estimated to require users.
In this paper we derive the second phase of the scheme which began in late July and that monitoring is 20:00 to 2:00 in the morning until Aug. 31 by officers of the Police District and the Group Special Public Safety (GESC).
The surveillance is extended in an hour compared to 2008, when the schedule was set from 21 to 2 am.
Surveillance in the green area is on foot.
The local police are in contact with citizens to give others peace and remind you that any problem can call the police emergency number 092.

Also given a booklet to users of the gardens, to put forward the times and seasons in which frequent the parks and any suggestions you want to comment on the agents.

In this special device is intended specifically ten agents, with enforcement of all units of the body, the serene and guardajardines.
