Los Lobos Competition hosted a successful troubadour (07/08/2009)

The son of 'The Patiñero' received from the Mayor on 'Mine', a symbol of the event

The Contest VIII troubadours 'Mine Sierra Almagrera', held last night in Los Lobos, hundreds of people gathered around one of the most emotional festival on record, this year dedicated to Manuel Prisons 'The Patiñero' , the popular troubadour who accompanied Murcia previous editions and that left us last year.

Mayor Jesus Caicedo and the village headman of Los Lobos, Jose Andres Martinez, were in charge of welcoming both minstrels and the people who attended this show.

In this posthumous tribute, attended by his son, Manuel Prisons, recalled the figure of 'The Patiñero' with a video of one of his last performances and dedications in the words of the artists participating in the contest.

Caicedo, who spent very moving words to the honoree, welcomed the presence of his son in Los Lobos and handed him the 'Mining' which is the symbol of this international event.

He also thanked the cooperation of the companies that make the event, whose representatives gave a 'Mining'.

The winners were CajaMurcia, Valero and Alarcon, Electrical Installations Portillo, Navarro Olivier, Lopez Urrutia, Joaquin Rico Agos and Investment.

The show began with the intervention of the host troubadour, Pedro Pérez 'El Parraro', who welcomed the audience with some verses.

This was followed by a verse of each artist in tribute to his partner, now dead, who was a regular at the festival of Los Lobos.

All recalled his expertise and popularity.

Although he could not read or write, 'The Patiñero' perfect verses composed and was admired in every corner of Spain and Latin America, where he worked.

Then there were several disputes between artists troubadours Marín Antonio Sánchez and Joaquín Sánchez 'El Palmisano', Murcia, Jose Sevilla and José A. López

Barranco Jr., La Alpujarra, Joseph E.

Muñoz 'The Malicious' and Jorge Iván Álvarez' El Zarco de Caldas ", Colombia and Orlando Wilson Saliwonsky and Laguardia, Argentina and Cuba, respectively.

The crossing of roots would then, with the surprising intervention of the Palmisano and Seville, Barranquito and El Zarco de Caldas, Marin and The Malicious, and The Parraro, Orlando Saliwonsky Laguardia and Wilson.

The finale brought all the performers on stage.
