The Local Police Corps of Murcia also has access to these 31 camera control, allowing greater control and track the status of the main thoroughfares of the city.

The seven new cameras, and put into operation, are located in Juan de Borbón (Abenarabi), San Andrés (Silk Garden), Plaza Diez de Revenga, Ronda de Garay, Post Street, Avenida Ciudad de Almería and Floridablanca Garden.

The detectors (or coils) located on the main roads of the city make an inventory of vehicles on a particular route in one hour, day, week ... setting a volumetric or Average Daily Traffic (ADT).

With data from the gauging of vehicles can prioritize certain crossings to encourage the sense of movement that supports more vehicles.

Traffic Intensity

According to the data recorded by the Board, the month of July has decreased traffic density by 10%, which compared with the month of August amounted to 20% and in the evening is as high as 40%.

The entrances to the city by different routes of access of the city has resulted in traffic density has declined in North Round

Regarding the real information panels, it is noteworthy that at present there are twelve (six and 12 variable message traffic information panels).

These panels serve to take the data from the detectors in the roadway to inform the user of traffic conditions (fluid, dense, congestion) of the main roads of the city.

At the same time from the control room can act on the various panels to advise the driver of a particular situation in any of the tracks as can be, works, street cut, processions ... and informational messages or recommendation.

The access management program allows you to record license plates of vehicles entering each of the areas as a security measure and generate an access log each time a user accesses the area.

From the control room can act on the various bollards lowering them or uploading them in appropriate cases (loading and unloading time ...).

The system enables communication from the tunnel control room through an open public address in case of emergency, emergency calls received through the post SOS and smoke detection and incidents within the tunnel.

The chambers of both tunnels make a continuous recording of the vehicles on the tunnel that will save images from any incident occurring in the interior.

Finally, from the control room is also aware of the passage of trams in real situation, state of the beacons, any alarms or faults at intersections affected by the tram, allowing us to detect at any time of any incident or anomaly and give party for resolution.
