González Tovar visit the Fund's investments Local Investment in the districts of southeastern Murcia (23/07/2009)

The delegate made 8 routes to monitor the State Fund works in the districts of Murcia

The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, this afternoon visited projects financed entirely by the Local Investment Fund in the districts of Southeast Murcia.

The delegate explained that in Los Dolores, San José de la Vega, and TorreagĂĽera Beniaján being carried out 10 projects valued at 1,873,169 euros and are generating 170 direct jobs.

González Tovar and routes has begun to be implemented by the various districts of the municipality of Murcia for direct monitoring of the implementation status of projects under the State Fund.

In this sense, explained that plans to carry out over 8 different routes this summer from all districts of Murcia.

"The City of Murcia has had full autonomy to present the project and chose the actions deemed most necessary, at the same time, the Government of Spain is fully financed all the works," said González Tovar.

Los Dolores

The state works being carried out in this hamlet consisting of the paving of driveways and sidewalks of 14 streets of the town, amounting to 294,030 euros and the creation of 19 direct jobs and the installation of several underground refuse containers.

This latter work is being developed in 139 locations throughout the city and has a state investment of 5,738,000 euros.

In this regard, González Tovar has stated that "installation of 139 points is buried trash containers in a single year, a fivefold all hitherto existing in the municipality of Murcia."

San José de la Vega

The State Fund finances the renovation and upgrading of public lighting in the district with an investment of 113,564 euros and the creation of 3 jobs.

Beniaján

Thanks to the State Fund are arranging the Jardines de la Calle San Francisco and La Peńa Azahar with the installation of recreational, planting, paving, new furnishings and various infrastructures.

These works are included in the proposed remodeling of five gardens in Right Bank Huerta de Murcia (Sector 4) with a total budget of € 563,459 and employs 8 workers.

So the average cost per yard is about 120,000 €.

Also is renovating and improving street lighting in streets of Beniaján with a budget of 262,416 euros and the creation of 4 jobs and proceeding to install various parts of underground containers of municipal solid waste.

The delegate has also found the installation of various speed reducers, such as built in the gateway to the town through the avenue Fabian Escribano.

Tovar Gonzalez recalled that placed a total of one hundred gear in 22 districts of the municipality.

This work has a total budget of 228,323 euros and employs 8 people.

Moreover, in the Bojar are carrying out various works in the Public School Our Lady of Fatima to the adequacy of the sports, pavements, drainage and fencing firm, pre-wired in sports ground, the installation of save-toe protective doors and installation of built-aerator taps in the toilets.

The work represents an investment of 168,769 euros and the creation of 22 jobs.

TorreagĂĽera

Finally, the delegation visited various works in TorreagĂĽera State Fund.

In particular, the redevelopment of the Garden Montegrande II belonging to the proposed refurbishment of the gardens of the Left Bank, sector III to have a budget of 743,531 euros for five gardens, so that the average cost is about 150,000 euros, and under driveways and sidewalks and installing new lights in several streets in the amount of 214,875 euros and employing 19 people.

Moreover, even in this hamlet are installing artificial turf on the football field (319 459 euros, 10 jobs).

The Local Investment Fund to date

Moreover, Gonzalez Tovar reported that to date, the Ministry of Planning Policy has been transferred to 43 municipalities in the region EUR 159,880,424, corresponding to 629 projects have received funding for the 70 percent of the total payment projects.

In this sense, González Tovar explained that since late last June, is beginning to pay the completion of the work of the State Fund in the Region of Murcia.

In particular, Lorca and Santomera municipalities have already received the final payment of five of its projects.

Likewise, the delegate explained that the number of jobs created and financed the works awarded the Local Investment Fund, which to date have already created 12,620 jobs, of these, 4,082 are newly created, and 8,538 of persons within the successful tenderers.

The Government delegate pointed out that the Region of Murcia has been the recipient of 246.3 M € of this fund and once the presentation phase of projects, 673 projects submitted were approved by the 45 municipalities in the region.
