In launching a digital encyclopedia geared to students of primary, secondary and university (22/07/2009)

Provide a concise, factual and fully adjusted to the teaching units for students in the municipality.

This is the objective that aims to fulfill the Department of Culture and European Programmes, directed Fátima Barnuevo, with the launch of the Great Encyclopedia Metro-wide library network of the Municipality of Murcia.

This is an interactive and useful for students with more than 150,000 items, most are in total and close relationship with the teaching units.

The implementation of this tool is primarily aimed at elementary students (final year), high school and college.

The information provided from this Great Encyclopedia is total and absolute thoroughness and may be supplemented by three other sections with counts: atlas, multimedia (videos, pictures and music) and statistics on specific data.

From the Department of Culture and European Programmes is undertaking a major effort to provide users of the Library Network of comprehensive information on matters of interest to students.

In this sense, it should be noted that at present offers users three computer magazines, access to El Pais Digital, Digital access and Aranzadi Act and the Naxos music database.
