2.1 million to improve sanitation facilities in the municipality of Murcia (17/07/2009)

The Governing Council has approved the procurement of the works included in the draft general sewage collector of the hamlet of Avileses Murcia, in which the Community will invest 2.1 million euros.

The objective of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water is to improve the treatment of wastewater from this area, for which his wealth is transported to the new Wastewater Treatment Station (STP) in the hamlets pachequeras of Roland, The Ferro and Balsicas .

The new collector, which will replace the old facilities of the WWTP Avileses, have a length of 4.5 kilometers and a concrete pipe 600 mm in diameter.
