The Murcian Bicisolidaria are received at the end of its path in Getxo to the sound of Canto a Murcia de La Parranda (14/07/2009)

The three Murcia, members of the Cycling Association Bicisolidaria, who left on Saturday July 4 from Aljucer for a cycle route through Spain to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease, have reached the end of its travel, the Basque town of Getxo .

At 2 pm today have made their entry in the Basque town, in the last stage accompanied by several members of the Society Cycling Punta Galea, who is based in Getxo.

Amateur cyclists have approached the City of Getxo, where they were received in the Plenary Hall by Mayor Imanol Landa.

For the concert, and various folk songs from their land, have been rehearsing for several weeks "Canto a Murcia" from the zarzuela "La Parranda", ending the various acts of completion of this route solidarity.

Hernandez began the fourth edition of his journey through Spain against Parkinson's, in Aljucer, with the blessing of their bikes in the Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows, where they went to the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga Murcia city, from where they were dismissed for their families and numerous Murcia, some of whom joined them in the first stage of land Murcia and Albacete.

Throughout the 11 stages that have made BICISOLIDARIA members have been received in the councils of cities and towns who come in events presided by their respective mayors and council of Social Services, accompanied by members of different and autonomous regional governments, in addition to the presence of representatives of associations of Parkinson's in the area.

Receptions have been held in locations such as Albacete, Cuenca, Zaragoza, Tudela, Logrońo and Vitoria.

The travel initiative, which aims to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease, have organized for the fourth edition, and this year have joined the national platform "United Against Parkinson's."
