The director general of Tourism, Angel Campos, accompanied by the Councillor of Tourism of the Municipality of Murcia, Isabel Valcárcel, today presented the plaque to Q Quality function room Light House Zarandona.

This award recognizes excellence of service and quality levels of the facilities of the establishment.

Currently, the Region has 24 restaurants certified with the Q for Tourist Quality, representing 22 percent of all certified establishments and institutions in the Autonomous Community of Murcia.

Furthermore, ranked third nationally in number of certified establishments catering category, after the Basque Country and Asturias 50 27.

In the city of Murcia are 26 certified establishments, 8 travel agencies, 3 hotels, 12 restaurants, a tourist bus company, an office conference and a conference center.
