The coordination between administrations, key to improving citizens' electronic access to public services (08/07/2009)

Coordination and collaboration between different public administrations, local, regional and national, is "key to improving citizens' electronic access to public services", as highlighted today the CEO of Public Administrations, Javier Iniesta, at the First Day Digital Utilities, held today in Murcia.

The conference, organized under the Avanza Plan developed by the regional government and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade, attended by more than one hundred representatives from different municipalities of the Region of Murcia, companies and organizations interested in New Technologies of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Avanza Local platform solutions, to facilitate electronic access of citizens to public services.

Iniesta, along with the Directors General of Telecommunications and Information Society, Diego Pedro García, and Computing and Communications, Manuel Escudero, referred to the coordination with local councils for "you are as well prepared as possible when applying Law 11/2007 on Electronic Access of Citizens to Public Services and unified communications networks. "

Electronic town halls

Another project for the promotion of e-Government in the field of local authorities is provided by the program "Electronic Digital Cities', also carried out in collaboration with Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade through the Avanza Plan and the Autonomous Community in III under the Development Plan of the Information Society.
