Herguedas believes that reforms Romea Theatre can respond to "an exercise in improvisation (02/07/2009)

IU + Councillor for the Greens in Murcia, Esther Herguedas, said today that the partial reforms undertaken in the Romea Theatre since 2007 can respond to "an exercise in improvisation" by the team of local government.

Herguedas recalled that in that year announced the launch of the exterior renovation of the building and indicated that they would end the next year.

"However," he continued after the 2007-2008 season, the theater closed, it was decided that we must also change the comb stage, winning the work in December 2008 with a deadline of four months. "

According to the mayor, "the last chapter has been written on the Board of Governors on July 1, with the award of outstanding domestic reforms, some works by the council were to be carried out while the comb" .

He noted that Murcia, Spain's seventh largest city in population, "can not afford to do without so much of a space like this, for all their programming could be described as provincial in recent times."

He added that "the modus operandi of the consistory has needlessly lengthened the process of reform that has been done with a minimum of rationality would have ended long ago."

"While improvisation can be a reason for that action, do not rule out other factors such as budgetary savings in programming for the past three seasons."
