Summary of proposals of the Socialist Group in Parliament on 25 June 2009 (25/06/2009)

The Socialist Group has presented today to the plenary the following motions, questions and requests:

MOTION IMPLEMENTATION 016

The socialist mayor María Dolores Abellon today introduced a motion calling Full implementation of a single phone number, specialized and free, the 016, to serve women victims of gender violence.

It has signed an alternative where the three political groups have opted for both the CARM and the Government of Spain, to reach agreements to implement this service.

MOTION EXTENSION PROJECT JETTY WALK

PSOE Councilman Jose Zapata has today proposed amendments to the draft extension of the Malecon works to provide greater safety for pedestrians and drivers at the start Enmedio Trail and road to La Ñora, and that this output has a minimum amplitude 6 meters, enough for two vehicles can cross, sidewalks and traffic signals.

BEAUTIFUL GLEN MOTION EXTERNAL AUDIT

In this motion, Navarro reminded the PP that the Socialist Party is still waiting to receive the technical report on the shedding that took place last May in the refuse of Cañada Hermosa

The PP has refused to provide a full report made, already in his possession, on the collapse in Cañada Hermosa.

He has also voted against conducting an audit on the operation of municipal waste plant.

MOTION TO AID FAMILIES IN NEED

With the last of the motions, Councilwoman Maria Dolores Abellon municipal government has asked that the budget i ncremente established by social services to help families who are in Murcia hardship status, and extraordinary and special, to those who are unemployed or exhaustion of benefits.

An additional support system that includes an extraordinary way of free nursery schools, dining and bus transportation, books, teaching materials and activities.

In addition to the motions, Socialist Group members have submitted to the plenary the following requests:
