The residents of La Purisima now have a new doctor to replace and improve the units with which they had hitherto users.
The new facility, inaugurated this morning by the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, and the Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, ensures the provision of services of high quality health care.
In the construction, has invested 562,000 euros, of which the City has contributed 204,000 euros and 358,000 euros Ministry of Health, but the total expenditure amounting to 640,000 euros if you take into account the budget allocation for the furniture and equipment.
The event was attended by also Councillor for Health and Social Services, Fulgencio Cervantes, and the President of the Municipal Council of La Purisima, Manuel Muñoz.
The center, which has a surface area of 339 square meters, erected on a plot donated by the City and building permits to replace the units in which up to now offering the service, which had been insufficient.
In addition, new facilities have been designed to meet the current population of 4,000 inhabitants and to absorb the expected growth in the future.
The office has 6 consultations of general practice, pediatrics, nursing and treatment room, with waiting rooms.
In addition to La Purisima, in other districts are currently developing a range of investments aimed at improving primary care of neighbors.
In the last six months, the collaboration between the municipality and the autonomous region has opened four health centers in Monteagudo, Azarbe Shore, and El Llano de Brujas Esparragal.
