The UCAM marks the tenth anniversary of the Spanish School of Sports Traumatology (20/06/2009)

The UCAM was held this morning, the tenth anniversary of the Department of Sports Traumatology.

Participated in the prestigious event in sports medicine specialist and professional exdeportistas.

Among those present, include former world-champion gymnast, Jesus Carballo, the former player of Real Madrid basketball and the Spanish, Juan Antonio Corbalan, and journalist, José María García.

The field of sports medicine involved, the director of the School of Sports Traumatology, José Luis Martínez Romero, Pedro Guillén, José Palacios Carvajal, Pedro Manella, Cristóbal Rodríguez and Tomás Fernández.

Interventions highlighted the Professor of Sports Traumatology, Pedro Guillén, who emphasized that "elite sport is a source of pathology but not well regulated sport which is a veritable fountain of health."

For its part, the famed journalist José María García, highlighted the work of Pedro Guillén, who "has done much good in the career of athletes."

Garcia stressed that "Sports medicine is indebted to Dr. Guillen."

He highlighted the great job the president of the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza, the creation of the Catholic University that "many good people this way."

Mendoza said in his speech that "Pedro Guillen has made one of the pillars of this university."

The President congratulated the entire team of the Spanish School of Traumatology for his work during these ten years. "

In conclusion to the act, gave the Assistant Principal, Francisco Esparza and President of the UCAM, for his work on behalf of the Spanish School of Sports Traumatology.
