Business Project Competition, in its seventeenth year, returns to reward the creativity and business initiatives of the residents of Murcia.
Through various awards, totaling more than 37,000 euros, the Department of Youth and Employment, headed Dolores Sanchez wants to boost the work of those who raise new ideas for businesses in the municipality.
A total of 147 projects have been awarded in the last 14 years.
In 2008 were 10, among which some related to renewable energies, new technologies and veterinary care.
The deadline for submission of projects for 2009 will remain open until September 18 and complete documentation of the call are posted on the website of the City: www.murcia.es / calls / premios.asp .
Applicants may receive information, guidance and free advice at the Centre for Training and Employment Initiative under the Employment Service, located on the campus of the FICA.
And in the Advisory Service of the University Foundation - Company located in the Campus de Espinardo.
The total prize sum amounts to EUR 37,863.76, divided into three awards.
In addition to the economic level, the first prize will be a scholarship valued at 3606.07 euros granted by the Company for the University Foundation Course Assistance Master in Business Administration (MBA) and Second Prize will be assigned another grant valued at 1,502 , 53 euros, also granted by the Company for the University Foundation to support SME Management Course.
The jury is chaired by the Executive Councillor for Youth and Employment and will involve representatives of trade unions and employers, as well as a representative of each political group represented in the city of Murcia and Technical Employment Service that will serve as Secretary .
Instances are presented in the General Register of the City of Murcia (Plaza of the Apostles, No. 1, Murcia).
