Learn and discover the fauna and flora of our environment walking around the town.
This is the goal of a new initiative of the Department of Environment and Quality you are installing 17 panels to present the fauna and flora of the municipality.
In total we have created illustrations of 24 species of fauna and 56 species of flora, with which they have made 17 panels with steel structure 1.80 meters high by 1'60 m wide.
The decor has been done to both sides distributing eight species of flora by eight species of fauna on the other.
Plant species are identified by their scientific names, common name and origin, while the species of fauna will make its scientific name, common English name.
Such signs shall be placed in ten gardens of Murcia and districts and the Municipal Park White Mahal and in the course of the River Segura.
Thus, we are putting in the gardens of Salitre, Lopez Ferrez, widowers, Floridablanca, Isaac Peral, La Seda, Monte Azahar (Beniaján), Constitution (Cabezo Torres), Villa Carmen (Espinardo) and Malecon.
In the White Majal install one at the entrance and another in the forest classroom while the river is one in the Pasarela Manterola and another at the height of the Red Cross.
These posters are intended to raise awareness of the importance of conservation of the fauna and flora, in addition to recognizing the different species in the municipality.
